i have just created a new character and decided to become a minion master as i had a go with my Me/N and although i was dreadfull it was really fun
has anyone got any ideas of builds as i have been looking through some of the other threads and in what i have looked at (not all sry if i missed yours ) i could not see a N/Me MM build any ideas guys

Here ya go. I run this for Sorrow's Farming, GvG and TA/RA. And i must say that it's quite effective. But it's N/Mo...

Necromancer/Monk

MMs typically have to deal with energy management and summon/self healing. A mesmer secondary doesn't do much for either unfortunatly.

You could potentially get casts of more often with Mantra of Recovery. Same with Echo or Arcane Echo.
Some of the Inspiration line might help you trick out some energy, but then Soul Reaping will do that better for you.

The CW is that MMs are one of three setups:
N/Mo for Heal Area
N/E for Glyph of Renewal and GLyph of Lesser Energy
N/R for Healing Spring, Serpents Quickness, and Winnowing

I got n/me i bring

- Animate Bone Fiend
- Verata's Sacrifice
- Blood of the master
- Energy Tap
- Leech Signet
- Power Drain
- Death Nove
- Your choice

Many people critize this build of having useless skills but I MM fine in SF, ORO, or FA.

killjoy, you need to add horror in there somewhere....you may not realise it but as an MM you should be constantly be spamming skills, fiends and horrors can be cast one after the other while the other one is recharging, as well having horrors can make an EXCELENT block so they dont charge up andtake out your monks or yourself.

I use a N/W, spamming summons and Sacrafice whenever i can, also when not in combat you can use BotM and Sacrafice, then use Healing sig (at a decent level) and negate the hp loss.....H.Sig is good for soloing too

There are two schools of thought concerning MM and Horrors:

1. Horrors do less damage and are a waste. They take energy that you could be using to make fiends and heal your minions.

2. Horrors are great blockers. They protect your fiends from melee and also protect your group. They are a way to deny corpses to enemy necros. You can constantly be casting horror/fiend instead of wating for fiend to recast.

I am firmly in group 2 along with Chronos on this. However, you should try both out and see for yourself.
